Create An User On Oracle E-Business Suite


Follow the below steps to create a custom User on Oracle E-Business Suite .

  • Login to Oracle EBS using the username : operations password : welcome
  • Navigate to System Administrator -> Security : User -> Define

  • Enter the User Name.Enter the password two times, the second time is the confirm password.
  • Assign the accessible responsibilities to the user by selecting the corresponding responsibilities from the lov of responsibility tab.
  • The above mentioned fields are mandatory fields. After fill up all the required information click on the save button to register the User.
  • Log out the current EBS session. Now the user is Registered with Oracle E-Business Suite. We can log in to Oracle E-Business suite using the above given credentials i.e. username and password.
  • After log in first time only it ask to change the current password.
  • After successfully log in to EBS it will shows all the assigned responsibility to this particular user.

  1. Could you explain me about "username : operations password : welcome" as it is not working for me. Is it DBA-level user or simple application-level user. Plz reply.

    1. Its an EBS setup default user, generally the password is modified by the DBA. Please contact to your DBA for an access.

      Delete
